Hartley's Crocodile Adventures
3 hr - Located north of Cairns, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is the best place to see crocodiles and Australian wildlife in Tropical North Queensland. Walk along the timber boardwalks and pathways, through woodlands and rainforest to see an array of tropical birds, reptiles, insects and other native fauna. Start your adventure with a boat cruise exploring the Melaleuca wetlands, home to the estuarine (saltwater) crocodile. Then, explore the different zones of the park at your leisure. There are entertaining and educational wildlife presentations to enjoy each day. (See below for times.) Watch the notorious ‘head shake’ and ‘death roll’ at the Crocodile Attack educational show, see some of the world’s most venomous snakes, and help feed the koala’s and cassowaries. Shows & Feeding times conducted by the parks qualified keepers. • 2.00pm Snake Show • 2.30pm Wetlands Cruise • 3.00pm Crocodile Attack Show • 4.15pm Cassowary feeding with a keeper • 4.30pm Koala feeding with a keeper Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is a long time accredited member of Ecotourism Australia and is the only wildlife park in Australia to be located within and surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage listed forest.

Crocodile Thunder

Without a doubt the boat tour - it was sensational seeing these majestic creatures in their habitat behaving the way you would expect attacking their prey. Second was the crocodile attack show as for a moment I thought the handler was in grave danger then again they are so experienced. All the shows were interesting and informative. The only drawback was not having enough time to watch the snake show to its completion as I had to go for the boat tour which started at 2.30pm. Everything is excellent from the shows, tours, food and gift shop. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely go again if I venture to CAIRNS again.

Really enjoyed the snake...

Really enjoyed the snake show very informative boat ride great and croc attack show was awesome. Driver was very informative on way to Hartley's.

Great 1/2 day

Croc show is great & holding the koalas, snake show interesting wish you could hold a wombat staff are friendly & food ok too.

We had a blast.

This place was fun. We had a great time and the staff were entertaining and helpful. Definitely recommend going to this place with children. Holding a python was a highlight of our trip. Worth a visit to this amazing park.
