Take a full, 11-hour day tour, and explore the very best of North Queensland. From lush tropical rain-forests and cascading waterfalls, to natural rock-slides come visit this beautiful part of Tropical North Queensland. Filled with fun, full of laughter and music with just the right amount of interesting local commentary. Your guide is the most knowledgeable and passionate in the region. We'll provide you with morning tea and lunch is included along with loads of information and to keep you entertained on the bus. This is a group tour with a maximum of 27 people per bus.

Waterfall Wanderers
11 hr - A full day tour for the young and the young at heart! Swim and explore the numerous stunning waterfalls of the Atherton Tablelands including morning and afternoon tea and lunch.

Babinda Boulders
45 min - Our first stop for the day is Babinda Boulders, this is a very well-known location as it is a significant place for the local indigenous people. During the 45 minutes here we will show you around the amazing site and tell you the history and legends of the boulders - there are a few spooky stories! This is considered one of Cairns' must visit spots especially during times of heavy rain the strength of the water passing through the boulders has to be seen to be believed!

Josephine Falls
1 hr - Next stop (and our first swimming spot!) is Josephine Falls! A short walk on an even pathway will bring you through the rainforest to the crystal clear waters and natural rock slide of the falls! Slip and slide down, cool off in the blue water or take advantage of the stunning scenery and take a few photos.

Millaa Millaa Falls
45 min - Next we will head up the Palmerston Highway onto the Atherton Tablelands to the most photographed waterfall in Australia! Millaa Millaa Falls are known worldwide for it's inclusion in the Herbal Essences and Qantas adverts. Here is the place to try the iconic hair flick or get a natural massage from the water cascading over the falls. World Famous and a must see on the Tablelands!

Malanda
1 hr - A well earned rest is coming up next, with lunch at Queensland's largest timber pub, Malanda Pub. Lunch is included but you can also purchase additional drinks if you like and take a break from the swimming.

Lake Eacham Crater Lakes National Park
45 min - Our last swim for the day is at Lake Eacham. Lake Eacham is a beautiful volcanic Crater Lake-heated from within and maintaining a steady 27 degrees water temperature all year round! Deep blue waters will certainly tempt you in for one last swim. Spot turtles in the shallows or just lay back and enjoy the last golden sunlight of the day. Your Guide will also serve afternoon tea here before starting the trip back down the Gillies Range to Cairns.

Great trip chasing waterfalls!

Loved that a trip! Steph was great, her funny comments and sense of humour certainly added to this trip.. The waterfalls were absolutely beautiful and whilst in some places we couldn’t really swim Steph took us to other lovely places. Highly recommended

Amazing

This is the second time I have done this tour and it was just as good as the first time. My kids (17) & (15) loved it too. Would recommend to anyone thinking of doing it.

Exhilarating water slide experience - unforgettable, pretty Milaa waterfall, delicious lunch, very experience guide.

The natural water slide was one of the most exhilarating things I’ve ever done in my life. The water was at yellow level so the guide asked for strong swimmers only. Because I wear contacts, I closed my eyes right before I hit the water with my feet up in the air and landed in the whirlpool. I thought I was under the water the whole time, but apparently I came up for air several times. My aunt recorded the whole 3 minutes in slow motion. The very experienced guide flew down the slide as soon as he saw I landed in the whirlpool and came to my rescue. He quickly guided me back in the right direction. The day was filled with interesting things to see like the 650-800 year old fig tree, the gorgeous Milaa waterfall, swimming at the very blue green Lake Eacham. We had a delicious lunch also. The tour guide taught us about dangerous plants and to avoid them. The only complaint was I confirmed the day before on pickup location and time and the driver didn’t pick us on time and they wanted us to walk down the street and we were unfamiliar with the area, but by the time we called, the driver finally showed up. Also, the tour advertised sunset at Lake Eacham, but in December sunset isn’t until after 6 so we didn’t get to see the sunset over Lake Eacham and my mom love sunsets. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants the see the Atherton Tableland area and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to experience an unforgettable natural water slide.
