Cairns Aquarium is an exciting, new all-weather visitor attraction located in the heart of Cairns, open daily. Guests of all ages will have guaranteed interaction with the spectacular beauty of over 16,000 marine and land animals from two World Heritage listed areas; the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest. Follow the journey from the river to the reef to enjoy daily animal and eco-system talks, a ray and shark feeding show and a hands on experience at the marine touch pool.

Watching the animals in the shark tank being fed was cool, especially seeing the care that went into it, and then the checking to make sure nothing could be left behind to contaminate the tank. Well worth the entry cost.
The kids seemed to really love it.
The staff and presenters were friendly and enthusiastic
They obviously enjoy their work and very knowledgeable.
Its a nice, well-kept aquarium with some lovely displays and animal sections. But it is so small! I completed it in like 45 minutes! So, it's a little underwhelming from that perspective
