About this activity

The tour is bespoke and only caters for a limited number of guests, so the information shared by our local River guide/captain is personal and there is plenty of time for questions. Enjoy stunning scenery with loads of amazing photo opportunities in the mangrove and mountain-lined Trinity Inlet. This stunning ecosystem has terrific and diverse bird life to watch and if you are lucky you may even spot a croc. The vessel "Fitzroy 1" is very comfortable with lounge-style seating, an onboard toilet and clears for protection from the elements if needed.

1 hr 15 min - For one hour and fifteen minutes, cruise along the mountain and mangrove-lined Trinity Inlet. You’ll get to see all the waterfront area of Cairns has to offer, cruising by various species of wildlife. The tour meanders through pristine creeks (the home of saltwater crocodiles) and takes in some of the quirky sights of the backwaters of Cairns too. A soft drink is provided on this tour.

Delightful afternoon river cruise

A delightful and informative late afternoon cruise up Trinity Inlet (Cairns River). The skipper of the boat provided a truly interesting commentary on the mangrove ecosystem. His wealth of local knowledge brought the river to life for us as he pointed out local landmarks. A relaxed and informal afternoon of great fun. We will be back.
