Best days diving I’ve had
Trip62605795729, 31-12-2022
Excellent experience. Despite being full both days we spent with them there were no issues.
They were funny helpful and thorough during all safety talks and pre dive briefings.
We had two dive guides over the two days, Paige and Marco and they were both fantastic.
Visibility wasn’t great on the first day as there had been storms, the trip to Saxon Reef on the second day was sensational. Viz was amazing, sea-life was prolific and both guides were great at finding little things as well.
Sirio (sp) runs an organised team without it seeming regimented.
I would HIGHLY recommend them and only wish we had more time to dive with them
Fantastic Staff and Awesome Diving

We did a four day/three night dive trip with Divers Den on the SeaQuest and OceanQuest. It was amazing all around. The staff was fantastic and the diving was some of the best I have done anywhere. The first morning on the SeaQuest can seem a little chaotic with a lot going on but the staff have everything down to a science and we got off to a great start with two great dives. Lunch was great and then we transferred to the OceanQuest for more space and settled in to a daily schedule. The schedule, safety briefings, manifest checks, meals, etc. are all dialed in to run as smoothly as possible. Every couple of dives we were at new spots on the reef. At every dive briefing, we went over a map of the dive site and you were free to navigate on your own with a buddy or ask for a guide (for a modest fee). We did a mix of both and the guides were fantastic, even with 7 of us with varying degrees of experience.. A special call out to Phil, Jess and Stefan, who were fun, professional and great to dive with. I can’t say enough about all of the staff who made our trip so enjoyable. The accommodations were great and the food was so much better than I expected. I ended up looking forward to every meal. I’d definitely recommend Divers Den and the OceanQuest for multiple-day GBR diving!.
A Wonderful Day at Great Barrier Reef

Our family of four had a wonderful time. One person did intro dive and the other three did 2 dives. The dive sites are unbelievably beautiful. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The food are supplied throughout the trip and delicious. We had a dive guide who is excellent. High recommend the trip.

What an amazing trip- did a 2 night liveaboard, my first go so was a little nervous (I am not the most confident diver) but it really was great- the diving was lovely- the water was clear and warm- saw a stonefish, lionfish, loads of clownfish and dory, plus turtles, rays, sharks, trevalley (very active on the night dive) and loads more! I rented a camera which is well worth doing if you don’t have your own- the snorkelling makes for some good photos!
They really do pack the days in- there are typically 4 dives on offer (my first day there were 3- night Dive was cancelled due to adverse weather- but seeing a storm up close was very cool- and hardly felt the waves!) the second day I did all 4 dives, including the intro night dive which was a great experience. The boat is nice, cabin was really clean, as were all of the communal spaces. I shared with another girl- similar age which seemed intentional and was great. The food was good- no real complaints but make any dietary requirements know ahead of time!
But what really made the whole trip were the guides- big shoutout to Jake who was a brilliant guide, really informative and friendly, and to Hannie- she was an absolute gem- she made me feel so welcome and at ease, she was so lovely and friendly- I really looked forward to dives guided with her as she was so good at spotting all the fish and creatures too!

I would for sure recommend this company to anyone thinking of diving the GBR!
