Our destination, Upolu Reef, is a very beautiful location situated on the edge of the Outer Barrier Reef, and is teeming with a large variety of interesting marine life and a beautiful array of corals. In the sheltered lagoon you will see a multitude of; giant clams, turtles, sea stars and reef fish. This offers a perfect snorkelling or diving experience in warm clear protected waters. Totally worth it!

Friendly crew. The trip was totally worth it. Showed us the spots where we could spot the beautiful underwater SeaWorld. They kept a close eye on everyone to keep us safe mid-sea. We were a family with a 12 year old and we felt totally safe. Enjoyed every bit of the snorkelling and the whole trip helped us build confidence with snorkelling as an activity. Just a tip - specify if you have any dietary restrictions in advance if you have any. We forgot to ask for vegetarian food in advance and since there are no other options mid-trip, it could have been problematic. But in the end it was fine.

From the moment we boarded, it was a fantastic experience. The crew was fantastic and our Captain was knowledgeable. We felt safe and got to experience the reef at two locations. Lunch was good and the snacks were perfect. The stinger suits we a nice bonus. It was absolutely worth our time and money!

Great trip, definitely worth the money. Crew were very welcoming and the experience was more personal due to the smaller group. Very well looked after, had a good lunch and snacks. Also felt very safe in the water with the snorkel guides around us. Saw loads of different animals (turtle, clown fish, shark and many starfish). I’d previously been on a more commercial trip to the great barrier reef and I much preferred this trip.

The day was made perfect by the crew. The level of professionalism is beyond any high standard imaginable. The staff modelled responsibility for taking care of the environment and that was heartfelt by all the passengers. Each member of the crew were engaging, attentive, and caring. It was a pleasure to watch them take care of business, while at the same time, ensure everyone's needs were met.
We were struck by the cleanliness and comfortable of the craft. Having travelled the world and participated in numerous tours, we know the difference between guides. This crew is safe, accommodating, and made everyone comfortable. The equipment provided is top notch and the guided snorkelling was an unexpected inclusion. We would have never imagined such brilliant colours and varieties of sea creatures. Without any hesitation we highly recommend Reef Daytripper.

Well organised. Crew was great. Only max of 20 people which was good. So many trips and companies to choose from, we plumped for this one and wasn’t disappointed. Maybe some of the other companies go to more interesting parts of the reef but this was good enough for us.
